Paige and Mike’s Payette Brewing wedding was so unique and so much fun! Their love story started with a beer and their next chapter started with one too. Mike and Paige are the owners of Payette Brewing, so it was only fitting that they would celebrate their wedding day at the place where it all began. Wedding Ceremony
Paige and Mike’s wedding ceremony took place at a beautiful home in the North End neighborhood of Boise. Musician Dan Costello provided the acoustic soundtrack for that part of the day and I provided the wireless microphones so all the guests could hear the officiant and vows. This charming backyard setting was a perfect location to say “I Do.”
Wedding Reception
Simply put, this reception was a blast. There was so much energy and excitement for this day and you could feel it immediately. The cocktail hour took place inside the brewery and the area outside where they had music and different yard games for guests to play.
When it was time for dinner, everyone made their way to the back of the brewery where Payette Brewing makes their beer. On a normal day, this just looks like a brewery/warehouse. On this day though, it was an amazing wedding venue (see pics below). I was very impressed with how well they were able to transform this space.
After dinner, everyone moved back into the main area for cake cutting (you HAVE to see the “beeramyd” wedding cake below), first dances and an incredibly fun dance party! This crew danced and partied for several hours and it couldn’t have been a better way to cap off a perfect night in Boise, Idaho.
Paige and Mike are such a fun, outgoing couple and it was truly an honor to be part of their wedding day. Be sure to stop by their brewery in Boise sometime. It’s more than just beer. There is a spirit of love and happiness. It comes from the couple, who not only owns the place, but who dedicated their lives to each other there.

Eric Rhodes is the owner and lead DJ at Rhodes Entertainment in Boise, ID. Eric has always had a passion for entertaining people through music. He officially started mixing records at the University of Idaho in 1999. After college Eric moved to Boise where he started making a name for himself in the local music/club scene with his unique sets of House, Indie and Hip-Hop tracks. He started his business in 2011 after realizing that his career in TV news just wasn’t for him. Since then, Eric has been following his dream by building his event DJ Company.
Aside from music, Eric has a passion for fitness, personal development and, most importantly, raising his young family. He is also the former President of his local Toastmasters Club and President of the Idaho Event Professionals group.
