Those who know me well know that I have a passion for health and fitness. From completing 75 Hard twice to running the Race to Robie Creek and the Sawtooth Relay to simply exercising and eating right every single day, I am committed to living a healthy lifestyle.
Music is obviously an integral part of my life. It’s how I make a living! Finding a way to combine my passions for music and fitness has always been important to me, and now I’ve committed to sharing those passions with others on a consistent basis. The best way I could do that is by creating DJ mixes for people to listen to while they’re working out.
Introducing Fit Mix Radio
My concept is a bi-weekly mix series called Fit Mix Radio, which I’m releasing on my Mixcloud profile (an awesome free app and website). The series will consist of mostly 45 to 60 minute mixes that span a wide range of genres, decades and energy levels.
My first two mixes so far are “Get Your Run On!” and “Throwback Hip-Hop (Remixed).” Both mixes are high-energy and a ton of fun to listen to.
Overall, these mixes will range anywhere from House to Hip-Hop to Pop to Throwbacks (70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, etc.) to Mashups and everything in between. I will be covering a lot of different styles every other week.
Keep in mind, that while the mix titles might imply listening to them while doing certain activities, these can be enjoyed during ANY activity – cycling, snowboarding, dancing, cleaning house, lifting weights, OTF classes, walking driving, etc.
With that said, I encourage you to get the FREE Mixcloud app for your phone and FOLLOW me so that you can be notified when new DJ mixes become available. Please keep in mind that I don’t make any money off of this. It’s simply for the love of music and fitness, and to share one of my gifts with other people.
Thank you and enjoy!
