Destination weddings for this Boise DJ are some of my favorite events to be a part of; especially when they’re in the heart of the Payette National Forest in beautiful McCall, ID. This July wedding in particular was one to remember. Although, when I say “destination” for this event, it’s only a half truth. The bride, Jenna, is originally from McCall, but lives with her husband in California. This ceremony and reception took place at her parent’s home just northeast of downtown McCall. Some of the 300+ guests were from McCall, but many of them traveled from all over, including California and Japan. I can only assume they got what they hoped for; a memorable ceremony, delicious food, entertaining toasts & dances and an epic dance party at the end. Since I was their DJ, I’m going to break down the night from a musical perspective. Hopefully it will give you some ideas of the type of music to choose for your big day.
