Blackhawk on the River Wedding McCall

Laura and Travis’ wedding reception was such a blast to be a part of! Their perfect day was on Friday, August 10, 2018 in beautiful McCall, Idaho. As you can see in the pictures below (generously shared by the talented Cimbalik Photography), this Blackhawk on the River wedding was full of sunshine, laughs and lots of love.

Wedding Reception

Laura and Travis were such a pleasure to work with. Their wedding reception was unique because it took place both inside and out. They enjoyed dinner, toasts, important dances and cake cutting out on the lawn behind the lodge. The dance party took place inside. It worked out perfectly, because the guests who wanted to socialize could stay outside where they didn’t have the challenge of competing with the sound of the music.

Performing for a mix of all ages is great, because I get to blend different genres and decades of music together to create a eclectic soundtrack for the night. DJ Eric Rhodes with Rhodes Entertainment

Eric Rhodes is the owner and lead DJ at Rhodes Entertainment in Boise, ID. Eric has always had a passion for entertaining people through music. He officially started mixing records at the University of Idaho in 1999. After college Eric moved to Boise where he started making a name for himself in the local music/club scene with his unique sets of House, Indie and Hip-Hop tracks. He started his business in 2011 after realizing that his career in TV news just wasn’t for him. Since then, Eric has been following his dream by building his event DJ Company.

Aside from music, Eric has a passion for fitness, personal development and, most importantly, raising his young family. He is also the former President of his local Toastmasters Club and President of the Idaho Event Professionals group.
