Katy & Rob had a remarkably fun Boise Depot wedding on September 16, 2017. They’re an amazing couple whom I’ve gotten to know on a personal level throughout the planning process. My assistant Marcos and I were honored to have been a part of their big day that included a beautiful outdoor ceremony, fun music and LOTS of dancing.
CEREMONY HIGHLIGHTS

The ceremony took place on the brick patio in front of the historic building with downtown Boise as the backdrop. It was romantic and memorable! Marcos and I provided sound for the ceremony which included Prelude music, Processional music, Recessional music and two wireless lavalier microphones. Their songs for the Processional and Recessional were:
Wedding Party: Yurima “River Flows In You”
Katy & Her Father: Brian Crain “Canon In D (Piano & Violin Version)”
Recessional: Chainsmokers “Roses” (which we started at the drop)
RECEPTION HIGHLIGHTS
Having a Boise Depot wedding can be fun for your guests. The building has a rich history which creates a unique environment that you can’t get anywhere else. Per Katy and Rob’s request, we added twelve gold-colored uplights to enhance the romantic feel of the space.
We played upbeat Classic Rock and Soft Rock music for Cocktail Hour and Dinner, which was fitting for the crowd who was mostly over 40 years old. This created a fun vibe that let everyone know we’re here to have a great time.
After that, we went through the formalities which included the First Dance, Toasts, Cake Cutting and more. Here are is a list of all of their song choices for those important moments:
Grand Entrance: Flo Rida “Cake”
Cake Cutting: DJs Choice
First Dance: James Arthur “Say You Won’t Let Go”
Father-Daughter Dance: Bob Carlisle “Butterfly Kisses”
Mother-Son Dance: Led Zeppelin “All of My Love”
Now, onto one of our favorite part of this Boise Depot wedding…the dance party! Rob, Katy and their guests had about an hour and half to dance before the sparkler send off. All I can say is what a fun group! Nearly everyone got up and danced at some point during the night. The energy in that room was electric from the very beginning and didn’t stop until Katy and Rob were gone and the sparklers had fizzled out. Their night was a blast and I’m truly honored to have been a part of it! A night to remember for sure!
