Joanna & Corey’s Fox Canyon Vineyard wedding took place on a warm and peaceful September Sunday evening. Not only was this this the official wedding reception for the Shaws, but it was actually the two year vow renewal. They were married in 2018 and now got to have their celebration of a lifetime!
Fox Canyon Vineyard is a beautiful venue to host that celebration. From the beautiful backdrop of the Snake River and hills to the lush lawn and open dance floor area, you can get just about everything you want in one outdoor space.
Ceremony
Joanna and Corey’s ceremony was gorgeous. I provided all of the music and wireless microphones, so that all of their guests could hear every word spoken.
Reception
Their cocktail hour and reception was fun and lively, while still having a romantic and loving vibe to it. We did things like the Shoe Game and Anniversary Dance, which was a great time and engaging for their guests. As the MC and DJ, I made sure the transitions to each moment felt seamless and natural. This can be tricky in an outdoor venue where guests are spread out, but I think it went well.
Dance Party
And their dance party was A BLAST! One of the things I love about doing an outdoor reception is the lighting gradually changes throughout the night. They started dancing in the daylight, then as the night progressed it got darker and the mood and feel of the party changed. It was a ton of fun and I’m so honored to have been a part of Joanna and Corey’s big day!
