It’s that time of year again when the readers of the Boise Weekly newspaper vote for their favorite restaurants, bars, goods, services and more. This year they included a “Best DJ” category and our very own Eric Rhodes took first place!
There some other amazing DJs who were nominated and Eric says it’s an honor to be chosen as the best amongst this talented group. And with a title like that comes great responsibility. Eric says he intends to bring the best possible DJ and MC entertainment to every event he is a part of. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate event or a small birthday party, he’ll make sure his clients get his best.

A Little Bit About Eric
Eric Rhodes is the owner and lead DJ at Rhodes Entertainment in Boise, ID. Eric has always had a passion for entertaining people through music. He officially started mixing records at the University of Idaho in 1999. After college Eric moved to Boise where he started making a name for himself in the local music/club scene with his unique sets of House, Indie and Hip-Hop tracks. He started his business in 2011 after realizing that his career in TV news just wasn’t for him. Since then, Eric has been following his dream by building his wedding and event DJ Company. He was also recently chosen to mix in front of his peers in Las Vegas for the Mobile Beat Las Vegas DJ convention.
Aside from music, Eric has a passion for fitness, personal development and, most importantly, raising his young family. He is also the former President of his local Toastmasters Club and former President of the Idaho Event Professionals organization.
